Warner Bros. Television Group has signed a new overall deal with “Hacks” co-creators Lucia Aniello and Paul W. Downs, and their production company, Paulilu Productions, after a competitive situation. WBTVG will now serve as Paulilu’s exclusive home for all new television ventures in a deal that calls for Aniello and Downs to develop original television programming for all platforms, including WarnerMedia’s HBO Max, external streaming services, cable, and the broadcast networks. Magnolia Network ordered two new shows, set to debut next year. “The Craftsman,” from Warm Springs Productions, features master craftsman and woodworker Eric Hollenbeck giving new life to historic homes, while Pie Town Productions’ “The Art of Vintage” centers on designer Katie Saro offering styling and design tips while transforming spaces. Magnolia also greenlit pilots for “One Big Day with Bob Goff” (wt), starring the author and speaker, and “From Grandma, with Love” (wt), focused on generational cooks from around the world. Simone Swink has been elevated from senior broadcast producer to executive producer of ABC’s “Good Morning America.” “Simone is a dynamic, thoughtful and creative leader, experienced in collaborating across platforms,” said ABC News president Kim Godwin in a note to the staff. “I’m confident that she and the GMA team will continue to lead the show in new and innovative directions.” Michael Corn left the job in April, and is now President of NewsNation. Media Ranch format “Things My Dad Failed To Teach Me” has been picked up, is in production, and will air on TTV Poland (a TVN/Discovery Group Channel) with nine episodes this fall. The format has also been picked up on Norway, and it is in development in The Netherlands. Bell Media has ordered new seasons of Great Pacific Media factual series “Highway Thru Hell,” “Heavy Rescue: 401” and “Mud Mountain Haulers,” for Discovery in Canada. |

One other issue issue is that video games are usually serious naturally with the key focus on mastering rather than amusement. Although, there is an entertainment aspect to keep your kids engaged, just about every game will likely be designed to work towards a specific set of skills or area, such as math concepts or scientific discipline.
