As our favorite pop stars and singers serve up hits, some also serve up new looks thanks to tweaks from a plastic surgeon or dermatologist. Wonderwall.com is taking a look at some of the singers who’ve confirmed they’ve gone under the knife — or whose changing appearances have sparked speculation that they’ve had work done — starting with this star… Ashley Tisdale made a name for herself in the “High School Musical” franchise of the ’00s, which she parlayed into a pop career that same decade with debut album “Headstrong” in 2007. The same year she released the album, she made a major change to her appearance…

Ashley Tisdale went under the knife in 2007, though she claimed it was for medical reasons. “Growing up I always knew I had a deviated septum on the right side of my nose, which caused trouble breathing,” she told People magazine, adding, “The older I got, the worse it got. I went to get it checked out, and the doctor told me the septum was 80% deviated and that I had two small fractures on my nose.”

Joe Jonas opened up about his experience with injectables in 2022 after partnering with the Botox alternative Xeomin, a double-filtered more purified version of the botulinum toxin that’s used to smooth wrinkles, frown lines and crow’s feet. He said he loved the results, especially after using Xeomin to minimize a scar between his eyebrows. The pop star told Allure that he “didn’t feel like I was a different person [by using it]” and that it “gave me that confidence that I think we all want to feel as we get older.”

Ashlee Simpson stepped out of the shadow of big sister Jessica Simpson in 2004, launching her own MTV reality show that documented the making of her debut album, “Autobiography,” which was a massive hit that topped the Billboard charts. A year after the release of her second album, “I Am Me,” she made headlines for sporting a very different nose…
_
Though Ashlee Simpson debuted a much different nose in 2006, she refused to confirm she’d gone under the knife. She told People magazine at the time, “Everybody’s already saying it, so I just don’t talk about it.” When pushed to confirm or deny the nose job, she replied, “Maybe. Who knows!” In 2007, her dad, Joe Simpson, confirmed it for her, telling Fox News, “Girls have their own ideas. Anyway, there was a real problem with her breathing and that was cured.”

The Spice Girls epitomized girl pop in the late ’90s. Two decades after their heyday, singer Mel B — aka Scary Spice, who often rocked tiny two-piece looks — shared that she went under the knife to make some big changes to her sleek physique…
_
Mel B revealed she got a boob job and was pretty candid about the big change on “Piers Morgan’s Life Stories” in 2019. The Spice Girl further shared that in addition to a breast augmentation, she also had “a few [other] nip and tucks.”

Victoria Adams was one of the biggest pop stars of the ’90s. Don’t recognize the name? You might know her by her alias, Posh Spice, or her married name… Victoria Beckham! At the beginning of her career, she was known for her supermodel-thin physique (she’s seen here in 1996), but she changed things up every decade…
_
In the 2000s, Victoria Beckham showed off a curvier figure after she had her breasts enhanced (she’s seen here in 2007), but that change only last another decade…
_
Victoria Beckham ended up removing her breast implants, telling Allure in 2014, “I don’t have those anymore.” She’s seen here with a smaller bustline in 2022.

We first got to know Clay Aiken in 2003 when he was a talented kid from the Midwest who came in second on the second season of “American Idol.”
_
Unlike many of his fellow pop stars, Clay Aiken has been incredibly open about his choice to go under the knife. In 2012, he told Andy Cohen on “Watch What Happens Live” all about his procedures, sharing, “I had operative surgery on my jaw for a TMJ thing and I had them suck the fat out of my chin while they were in there. I was like, ‘You know what, while I’m already down, go ahead and take the vacuum in there and suck the fat out of my chin.'”

Destiny’s Child dominated the airwaves in the late ’90s and early ’00s. Member Kelly Rowland (second from right) opted to augment a part of her body a decade later…
_
Destiny’s Child singer Kelly Rowland had a breast augmentation in 2008 after years of deliberation. She opened up about the decision in Shape magazine in 2013. “I wanted to get breast implants when I was 18, but my mom and Beyonce‘s mom told me to really think about it first,” the singer explained. “Once I felt ready, I tried on padded bras and walked around in them to see how it would feel. You have to know what you’re getting, no matter what type of surgery it is.”

Aubrey O’Day was a member of the girl group Danity Kane, who came together on MTV’s “Making the Band” series in 2005. After the ladies disbanded in 2014, she made some major changes to her appearance…
_
Aubrey O’Day showed off a very different look in 2019 but denied plastic surgery was involved. The singer instead told Us Weekly that the changes were due to “lip fillers and Botox.”

One of Lady Gaga‘s biggest hits sung the praises of accepting yourself the way you were born, but the superstar (seen here in 2008) has admitted she’s experimented with some facial tweaks…
_
Lady Gaga doesn’t look like she’s aged a day since she burst onto the music scene. Though the star denied going under the knife in a 2011 interview with Harper’s Bazaar, in 2013, she fessed up to using injectables Juvederm, though she also told radio host Howard Stern that she’d quit the face-enhancing habit. “I was really obsessed with getting facial injections,” she said, until “a photographer friend was like, ‘Gaga, I love you but if you don’t stop injecting s*** in your face, I’m going to just kill you.” That hasn’t stopped plastic surgeons from speculating about Gaga’s changing looks, with theories ranging from lip filler and nose jobs to aesthetic doctor Leslie Gerstman’s theory, which she shared on Instagram in 2019, that Gaga had filler injected into her nose to make it appear more straight.

Janet Jackson rose to fame in the late ’70s and early ’80s acting on the sitcoms “Good Times” and “Diff’rent Strokes” before eventually carving out a solo career in the pop world. Just like her famous siblings, she made some adjustments to her appearance over the years...
_
Janet Jackson has remained tight-lipped about any procedures she might have had, but she certainly sports a tinier nose these days and looks miraculously youthful for someone in her late 50s.

This fresh-faced photo of Christina Aguilera was taken in 1999 — the same year her debut pop song, “Genie in a Bottle,” catapulted her to superstardom. Though Xtina is still putting out music, these days she looks a bit different…
_
Throughout her illustrious career, Christina Aguilera has dodged a lot of plastic surgery rumors. Though she’s never admitted to having any procedures done, it’s been speculated that she’s had a nose job, lip fillers and a breast augmentation.
_
One of the biggest pop stars of all time, Madonna, is seen here looking fresh-faced in 1978. It was the same year she moved to New York City to try to make a name for herself in the dance world before she eventually pivoted to music and released her debut album, “Madonna,” in 1983.
_
It’s hard to believe this photo was taken 44 years later! Madonna has never been candid about any plastic surgery procedures she might have had, but rumors of a nose job (or two!), lip injections, a chin implant and a facelift — as well as fillers and Botox — have been talked about for years.
Dear immortals, I need some wow gold inspiration to create.
